About this tool

The Flying Car Simulator is a free 3D arcade game about a sports car that hops into the air on cold-gas thrusters, inspired by the stunts Tesla showed with its new Roadster on October 15, 2026. A run lasts about six minutes over seventeen stages that get faster and stranger: upside-down twisting ramps, rows of parked cars, canyons and container walls you must thrust over, a low-gravity stretch with a climb of container stacks, a gravity flip onto an overhead track where you switch gravity between the road and the ceiling to dodge rows of cars, a low tunnel where too much thrust hits the roof, rolling barrels, updrafts and downdrafts. Thrust fades near an altitude ceiling and air refills on the road, from canisters and after clean flips; jump and boost pads, stars and rings add speed and points. Combos reach ×5, near misses earn a bonus, and three cars with a checkpoint after each stage keep a late crash from ending the run. Play full screen and share your score. Physics values are simplified game values. It is an independent fan game with an original car design, not made, endorsed or sponsored by Tesla.

Why use it

  • A full arcade run with seventeen stages, gravity flips, checkpoints, combos, rings and medals, not just a single jump.

  • Shows what a sub-second 0–60 time means in g-forces as you play, not just as a number on a spec sheet.

  • Quick to learn and hard to master: timing hops, saving air and landing flips all count.

  • Runs in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers, full screen if you like, with no download or sign-up.

  • Your best score is saved on your device, and you can share a score line or screenshot to challenge friends.

How to use

  1. Pick Daily challenge for today's shared course or Free run for a new course, then press Play. Press ⛶ or F for full screen.
  2. Hold Thrust (Space, the Up arrow or the THRUST button) before each row of cars, wall or canyon; roadside signs warn you what is next.
  3. In the air, hold ↺ or ↻ (the Left or Right arrow) to flip, and let go in time to land level for a Perfect landing.
  4. Fly through 💧 canisters for air, ◎ rings and ⭐ stars for points, and use ⚡ boost and 🚀 jump pads.
  5. In the gravity flip, press G, ↓ or the ↕ button to switch between the road and the overhead track and dodge rows; in the tunnel, keep hops low. A crash restarts you at the last checkpoint.

When it helps

  • Trying out the idea of a thruster-assisted flying car after seeing one in the news.
  • Showing students how acceleration, gravity and thrust interact in a simple physics model.
  • Taking a short break with a one-button arcade game.
  • Comparing how 0–60 times of 2.5, 1.6, 0.9 and 0.59 seconds feel in g-forces.

Examples

Max boost launch

Input

Launch mode: Max boost, 0–60 mph in 0.59 s

Expected result

About 4.6 g of acceleration: 26.8 m/s ÷ 0.59 s ÷ 9.81 m/s²

Sports car launch

Input

Launch mode: Sports car, 0–60 mph in 2.5 s

Expected result

About 1.1 g: 26.8 m/s ÷ 2.5 s ÷ 9.81 m/s²

Tips

  • Start the thrust a moment before a row or wall, not on top of it: the car needs time to climb, and tall walls need a long burst.
  • Short taps of thrust save air. Above about 50 ft the thrusters lose power, so flying high wastes the tank.
  • Small canyons can be crossed on speed alone; wide ones need a kicker ramp, a pad or a burst of thrust, and a downdraft pulls you down.
  • In low gravity everything floats: hop early and let the car glide, and climb the container stacks one at a time.
  • Coming down fast and level, the floor jets fire on their own to cushion the landing while there is air left.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the Tesla flying car?
No. It is an independent game inspired by the Tesla Roadster demo of October 15, 2026, with an original car design and simplified physics. It is not made or endorsed by Tesla. Our guide to the Tesla flying Roadster covers what the real car does, its price and release date.
Is this a real car simulator?
It is a simplified physics game. Gravity is real (9.81 m/s²) and the 0–60 times match each launch mode, but thrust, mass and the air tank are game values chosen to make it playable, not the specs of any real car.
How do I fly the car?
Hold Thrust, Space or the Up arrow to fire the cold-gas thrusters. Thrust always pushes away from the road you are driving on, so in the gravity flip it pushes you off the ceiling, and it fades near the altitude ceiling. Flip with the Left and Right arrows or the ↺ ↻ buttons.
What does the g-force number mean?
It is the push you would feel, as a multiple of normal gravity. Reaching 60 mph in 0.59 seconds takes about 4.6 g; in free fall the reading drops to 0 g.
Why did I crash when I landed?
You landed tilted more than about 30 degrees (nose first or on the roof), hit a parked car, a wall, a barrel or the tunnel roof, or fell into a canyon. A level landing never ends the run. Each crash costs one of your three cars and restarts you at the last stage checkpoint.
How is the score calculated?
Each row, wall or barrel cleared is worth 100, a near miss 200, a ring 150, a ramp stunt 150 and each landed flip 250, raised for a perfect landing; these are multiplied by your combo, up to ×5. Stars add 25, air canisters 50 and each stage clear a bonus, and the finish adds a bonus for air, cars left and time.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Use the on-screen THRUST and ↺ ↻ buttons, and tap ⛶ for full screen; turning the phone sideways gives the widest view. On phones that cannot go full screen, the game covers the window instead.
What is the daily challenge?
A course generated from the date, so everyone gets the same ramps, canyons, walls and rows of cars that day. Your best daily score and your streak of days played are saved on your device, and the share button posts a summary of your run.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, in this browser only. Your driver level and XP, best scores, unlocked stages and achievements are kept in local storage on your device, with no account and nothing sent to a server. Clearing site data or switching browsers starts you from level 1.
